Peter J. Caruso II Presents “Copyrights, Contracts, and Other Legal Issues” at Danforth Art Museum Professional Artists Series

October 24, 2013

Artists want to share their talents and creativity with the world, but they also want to grow their businesses and protect their works.  This workshop gives participants a broad understanding about how the law applies to their art practices and developing businesses. Clarity is given to legal rights and obligations, including tools/resources for preventing/mitigating legal issues and empowerment necessary to confidently share and protect creative work in the public realm. Peter is chair of Prince Lobel’s Art & Museum Law Practice Group and regularly represents artists, art organizations, museums, and galleries.
