Prince Lobel Joins Vermont Captive Insurance Association

August 17, 2012

Reflecting the firm’s expanding captive insurance practice, Prince Lobel is now an associate member of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA). Vermont is the preeminent U.S. domicile for this growing form of alternative risk transfer. Led by Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group Chair Mitchell S. King and Partners Joseph S. Sano and Thomas M. Elcock, the firm provides captives with advice and representation in connection with policy drafting, comparative coverage analyses, coverage advice and litigation, reinsurance drafting and strategic advice, reinsurance claims, litigation, and arbitration.

VCIA is the largest trade association in the world for captive insurance.  Established in 1985, the Association has grown to provide lobbying support on both the state and federal levels for its nearly 500 member companies.  In addition, it hosts and supports professional education opportunities for the industry at large.
