Prince Lobel’s Domestic Relations Casework Reflected in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly 2005 “Most Important Decisions” List

Two of the cases highlighted in the 2005 “Most Important Decisions” list in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly under the Domestic Relations category involved representation by PLGT. The first case was a decision under the “Alimony” category (Kelley v. Kelley)citing that “A divorced man’s alimony should not have been reduced from $500 to $400 per week where the reduction was not based on any changed circumstances, determines the Appeals Court.” Kelley v. Kelley (Lawyers Weekly No. 11-206-05)(15 pages).

The second case was under the “Antenuptial agreement” category(Korff v. Korff): “A judge should not have modified the alimony provisions of an antenuptial agreement after having ruled that agreement to be valid, determines the Appeals Court.” Korff v. Korff(and a companion case)(Laywers Weekly No. 11-131-05)(9 pages).
