Rob Bertsche was quoted in a recent edition of the ( Fitchburg, MA) Sentinel & Enterprise regarding an apparent violation of the state Open Meetings Law by the Fitchburg Airport Commission. As noted in the article, public boards and commissions are not permitted to meet in private unless the subject matter of the meeting falls under certain specific, narrowly construed, exemptions. Rob is quoted as saying the Airport Commission’s meeting apparently did not fall under any such exemption.
