Diane R. Rubin, a partner in Prince Lobel’s Real Estate Practice Group, is quoted in an article about the problems encountered by unit owners in troubled condominium developments. Condo owners in New England and around the country are living in developments were many of the units remain unsold, or where the developer has run into financial problems and can no longer maintain the property.
Diane urges condo owners to “look at the purchase and sale agreement, look at the deeds and condominium documents. Sit and read all those things. See if there’s anything in there that might be a promise or representation or agreement that doesn’t seem to have been fulfilled.”
