The American Society of Magazine Editors is hosting its Annual Legal Briefing for Magazine Editors on Thursday, October 17 at ASME’s headquarters in New York. Presenters are Robert A. Bertsche and Peter J. Caruso II of Prince Lobel’s Media and Intellectual Property group. The session will cover the latest legal developments affecting editors, companies, and their brands and what editors need to know to keep their magazine–and writers, photographers, bloggers, and publisher–out of court and on top of the competition.
The morning session will focus on business law for magazine editors; the afternoon session will cover journalism law for magazine editors.
