On October 26, 2007, Prince Lobel, BU College of Communication, BU School of Law, and WBUR sponsored a daylong conference: “New Media and the Marketplace of Ideas.”

Joe Steinfield was the originator of the conference and one of its principal speakers. Rob Bertsche hosted one of the conference’s breakout sessions.

Markos Moulitsas of the Daily Kos, one of the most influential political blogs in the country, was the keynote speaker.
