We are honored to welcome Bassem Youssef, political satirist, former host of the television program “Al-Bernameg” in Egypt, one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, and courageous proponent of freedom of speech, to a program about the role of satire in the evolving international landscape.

Dr. Youssef will be joined by Peter Kadzis, Senior Editor of WGBHNews.org and Joseph Steinfield, Media and First Amendment lawyer at Prince Lobel, for a dynamic discussion about social, political, and legal challenges to offensive speech, in the U.S. and abroad.
