Prince Lobel media lawyer Robert A. Bertsche, a member of the advisory board of the New England Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), spoke on the topic of censorship on college campuses at the SPJ’s Spring Conference in Portland, Maine on April 26, 2008. Joining him was well-known communications professor Roy Gutterman of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, as well as the editors of the campus newspaper at Montclair (NJ) State University, site of a recent skirmish over student press rights.
