Social Media Strategy, Policy, and Training for Human Resource Professionals

July 9, 2013

Prince Lobel Tye Social Media Practice Group Chair Robert A. Bertsche recently provided an onsite client training discussing employee use of social media, the law, and the role of human resource professionals.  Rob discussed the need for employers to have a social media policy in addition to, and separate from, social media usage guidelines. While employees are entitled to certain protections, employers are eager to ensure that their businesses are not damaged by negative work-related posts.

Rob cuts through the legal jargon, and offers tangible, real-world advice so employers can address the growing issues surrounding employee use of social media. To view Rob’s recent presentation, and to learn more about social media in the workplace, firm client NFP Thorbahn created a YouTube video, which you can find here.
