The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) has recently taken a hard line on requiring all licensees to surrender expired provisional approvals without allowing an opportunity for cure or renew. Many in the industry have been caught off guard by this action. Commissioner Nurys Camargo raised this issue at last week’s CCC meeting, after Prince Lobel had an opportunity to raise its concerns with the CCC and suggest possible alternative paths forward. We are working closely with the CCC, which is taking this issue seriously, and we will continue to work with it to find a fair and reasonable resolution to this matter. We thank the CCC for its effort and commitment to this issue. If you need more information about this, or you are facing a similar concern, please reach out to Mike Ross or Dan Glissman and we will be happy to assist you.
