By establishing
this Working Group, Governor Patrick brings together relevant expertise from a variety of constituencies, including attorneys,
psychologists, child and family advocates, and representatives from the governor’s
office and state house. The purpose of
the working group will be to examine the current custody laws in the state for
couples with children after their parents’ separation and divorce, and to also
look for the fair treatment and the best interest of children in all
relationships.
