Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has appointed Prince Lobel employment law attorney Joseph L. Edwards, Jr. to serve on the advisory board for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD).
The board is comprised of select members from across the Commonwealth, representing a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, education, employment history, and cultures. They are responsible for advising the governor on policy issues that affect the MCAD, reviewing the Commission’s operating procedures, and reporting their findings to the Commission and the governor.
Joe is a senior associate at Prince Lobel, and represents employers and employees in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in a full range of employment matters, including sex, race, and handicap discrimination claims, employment contracts, severance issues, and noncompete agreements. He is also certified by the MCAD to conduct anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training.
