Media Nation Quotes Robert A. Bertsche Regarding Libel Suit Against Staples

The case, Noonan v. Staples Inc. involves a Staples executive that distributed a mass email to 1,500 employees regarding the termination of a salesman for not complying with the company’s travel and expenses policies. The 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel reversed an appellate ruling for defamation. The plaintiff is proceeding, based on a statute enacted in 1902. To view the article, click here.
