Trusts and Estates

Thomas P. O’Neill is a member of Prince Lobel’s Estate Planning practice group. In this role he will focus on estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates. He regularly advises clients in connection with wealth succession planning, Medicaid/MassHealth planning, and complex tax issues related to trusts and estates. Tom also represents executors/personal representatives, beneficiaries, and creditors of estates in probate court proceedings, and throughout the estate settlement process.

Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Tom was an associate at Baker, Braverman & Barbadoro, where he worked on estate plans; wealth transfer strategies; trust, estate and fiduciary matters; as well as corporate entity documentation and tax and estate planning issues. He also has experience as in-house counsel to a 100-person information technology staffing and permanent placement organization, advising senior management and corporate departments on legal issues including immigration and tax matters.

Tom was a student prosecutor for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and a judicial clerk for the County Juvenile Court Judges Lobby in Boston. He holds an LL.M. from Boston University School of Law in tax, a J.D. from New England School of Law, and a B.A. from St. Anselm College.
