Peter J. Caruso II Discusses Perils, Pitfalls, and Possibilities of Social Media Marketing as Guest on Radio Entrepreneurs

May 16, 2012

In his appearance on the radio program “Radio Entrepreneurs,” Peter spoke about the challenges of protecting and counseling clients in the fast-moving and dynamic area of social media. According to Peter, it took 38 years for radio to achieve 50 million listeners, 13 years for TV to achieve 50 million viewers, four years for the Internet to hit 50 million, and three years for the iPod to reach that milestone. It took less than one year for Facebook to reach 200 million users.

This explosive growth is one of many challenges Peter faces in his practice as a partner in Prince Lobel’s Media Law Practice Group. Peter regularly counsels clients who want to use social media as part of their marketing plan, as well as those who seek to create a policy to regulate their employees’ use of social media in the workplace. According to Peter, the traditional rules don’t change, but the breakneck speed of this medium is seemingly in a constant state of change.

Peter’s appearance spanned two segments, which you access using the links below. Radio Entrepreneurs can be heard Monday-Friday from 2-3 PM on the following radio stations:
