Prince Lobel is pleased to welcome Dr. Suhrid Wadekar as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Dr. Wadekar assists a wide range of clients from start-ups and small businesses to large corporations. In his practice, he works on intellectual property litigation matters, intellectual property transactions and patent prosecution. An experienced patent litigator, Dr. Wadekar handles high technology patent cases in district courts throughout the country and in the International Trade Commission. Dr. Wadekar has also been responsible for more than thirty inter partes review (IPR) petitions involving diverse technologies.
Dr. Wadekar has extensive experience with patent prosecution for complex software systems, circuits and hardware systems, medical devices, social media, financial services, advertising systems, and other devices and systems. In addition, Dr. Wadekar has advised clients on IP-related risks in mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase, IPO, SPAC, and debt financing transactions, in a variety of technologies.

Dr. Wadekar graduated from the University of Pune with a BSE in Electrical Engineering, he earned his Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, and he graduated from the University of Southern California with a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Wadekar earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
