Prince Lobel Announces Elevation of Three Partners

Adam Doherty joined Prince Lobel in 2007 and serves as a member of the Litigation and Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Groups. Adam focuses on the resolution of complex civil disputes through litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He has extensive experience in counseling clients in the areas of reinsurance and insurance coverage, including property and casualty, media liability, disability, accident and health and environmental and toxic tort claims.  Before joining the firm, Adam served as a law clerk in the coverage group of a major property and
casualty insurer. “Prince Lobel has given me incredible opportunities throughout my career and I am very excited to take this next step with the firm.”

Joseph Edwards, Jr. joined Prince Lobel in 2001 as an associate in the Employment and Litigation Practice Groups. Joe is also a member of the firm’s Hospitality Industry Group. He represents employers and employees in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in a full range of employment matters, including sex, race, and handicap discrimination claims, employment contracts, severance issues, and non-compete agreements. Joe has been featured as a panelist and speaker at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education events and served as the Interim Chief Diversity and Civil Rights Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. In addition, Joe was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick in 2012 to serve on the Advisory Board for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. “I am honored and grateful for this vote of confidence and I will strive to meet the high standards expected of a partner at Prince Lobel.”

Kimberley Philbin joined Prince Lobel in 2004 as a member of the Real Estate and Telecommunications Practice Groups. Kimberley represents wireless communications and media companies in
transactional matters, and real estate developers and owners and businesses in connection with commercial real estate transactions, land use, and environmental matters. Before joining the firm, Kim worked in-house for a local real estate development firm. “I appreciate all of the support and encouragement from everyone at Prince Lobel and I look forward to what the future will bring with this opportunity.
