Super Lawyers is an annual, state-by-state rating service
for attorneys across 70 practice areas. Its recently-patented selection process
evaluates candidates on 12 different indicators of professional achievement and
peer recognition. The process starts with formal and informal nominations,
followed by third-party research, and culminates with a final evaluation by a
highly-credentialed panel of attorneys. Because only 5 percent of candidates
nominated in each state are ultimately named Super Lawyers, the title is
considered a distinct honor.
Prince Lobel Rising Stars:
- Julie A.
Brennan – Civil Litigation Defense - Asya Calixto
– First Amendment/Media/Advertising - Heather M.
Gamache – Civil Litigation Defense - Jeffrey J.
Pyle – First Amendment/Media/Advertising
Rising Stars are recognized attorneys who are either 40
years old or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.
Similar to Super Lawyers, just 2.5 percent of nominees in each state are named
to the list, so it is considered a worthy accomplishment.
