Prince Lobel Welcomes Corporate and Real Estate Partner Gregory A. Pastore

Prince Lobel Tye LLP is pleased
to announce Gregory A. Pastore has
joined the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate practice
groups. Greg most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer of
Rubicon Global in Atlanta, and was previously the President of Friendly Ice
Cream Corporation through its bankruptcy in 2011. Greg has also been Friendly’s
Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

enjoy a rewarding in-house career, during which time I had the pleasure of
hiring a number of the attorneys at Prince Lobel," stated Greg. "I

At Rubicon Global, Greg led the
Legal and Human Resources Departments of the national sustainability company.
Responsible for negotiating and documenting service agreements with some of the
nation’s largest companies, he also led the team that tripled the size of
Rubicon Global in less than two years. While at Friendly’s, Greg was
responsible for all legal, employee relations and security matters for the $600
million, 13,000 employee company. He provided legal and business advice to the
company’s board members, implemented a successful plan to protect against
hostile shareholder takeover actions and managed Friendly’s SEC compliance
program.

A veteran of the hospitality
industry, Greg was also vice president, general counsel and secretary for
Bertucci’s Corporation before joining Friendly’s. He headed the Development and
Legal Departments for the $275 million, 9,500 employee company. A graduate of
the University of Notre Dame Law School, Greg is an alumnus of Tillinghast
Collins & Graham, and Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, where he focused on
corporate and real estate matters.
