With a diverse background in a variety of law and business settings, including as a General Counsel and executive, Steve further expands Prince Lobel’s corporate practice with the ability to provide outside General Counsel services to operating companies and sports organizations.
Steve brings more than 25 years of in-house and private firm experience to the firm, incorporating a wide variety of experiences, in both in-house and private firm settings. Steve advises businesses in all stages of development, including business formation, day-to-day operations, employment matters, strategic partnerships and related business development, acquisitions, and merger and sale transactions. Having worked in and counseled an iconic family business for many years, Steve is also well-versed in the variety of issues impacting closely-held family businesses.
Steve also has an extensive background in professional soccer. He has represented professional and youth soccer clubs in a variety of matters, including employment issues, commercial transactions, financing and merger and acquisition matters, corporate governance, and the drafting and negotiation of a variety of agreements affecting all aspects of their operations. Steve further serves as a principal of the consulting agency Professional Soccer Advisors, which advises international and domestic pro soccer teams, as well as American youth soccer clubs and U.S. corporations having soccer-related business ventures.
