Ashfin Islam is a member of Prince Lobel’s Real Estate and Energy practice groups.  In that role he advises  energy clients on potential issues and compliance with zoning laws, state-specific community solar incentives, and state and federal environmental regulations.  Ashfin focuses on turning complex issues of business and law into targeted and actionable business advice.

In addition to his energy practice, Ashfin works with start-up organizations and pharmaceutical industries.  He also has experience in global privacy and data security compliance, securities regulations, and start-up funding.

Ashfin is also a member of Prince Lobel’s Data Privacy and Security practice group.  He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and assists clients with data and privacy issues relating to their businesses.

Ashfin holds a J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law and a B.A. from Amherst College.
