Christopher C. Miller is a partner and a member of the firm’s litigation practice and construction law group, focusing his practice on complex business matters in the areas of construction, real estate, and general commercial law. A seasoned litigator, Chris has served as counsel for clients in a wide variety of matters, including construction claims, commercial disputes, condominium cases, and tort claims in multiparty, complex litigation in state and federal courts, as well as at mediations and arbitrations.

As part of the firm’s construction law group, Chris represents public and private owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors on a wide range of public and private construction projects. He assists clients with preparation, review, and negotiation of all forms of construction documents, including prime contracts, design contracts, subcontracts, joint venture agreements, bonds, releases and lien waivers, and with preparation, prosecution and defense of claims related to bidding and procurement, payment and performance bonds, mechanic’s liens, construction and design defects, change orders and extra work, delay and lost productivity, differing site conditions, contract administration, termination, and insurance coverage in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations.

Prior to attending law school, Chris served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, where he designed and managed programs and projects to help improve rural communities, collaborating with community members, non-governmental organizations, and local village leaders to achieve sustainable and practical results.

Chris earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where he served as the Chief Comments Editor of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review. Following law school, Chris served as a law clerk for the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. He is admitted to the bars of Massachusetts and New York.
