Joe is a partner in the firm’s Data Privacy and Security; Insurance, Risk Management and Reinsurance; Litigation practice groups and a former member of Prince Lobel’s Management Committee, with more than 30 years’ experience.
Joe advises his business and individual clients regarding their rights and liabilities under law and represents such clients in commercial and personal disputes, including the investigation, defense, prosecution and avoidance of civil claims and in insurance and reinsurance disputes. Joe has tried to successful conclusion matters involving unfair competition, property damage, wrongful death, and insurer and private party bad faith for both plaintiffs and defendants. As an advocate and advisor to his clients (including as a data breach coach), both in the Commonwealth and throughout the country, Joe’s focus is on the effective resolution of complex civil disputes. He has extensive trial and arbitration experience and advises clients on risk avoidance, mitigation and transfer strategies.
Joe is a member of the firm’s multidisciplinary Data Privacy and Security Practice Group which leverages the talents of the Firm’s attorneys in areas such as corporate advice, contracting insurance/reinsurance, intellectual property, and litigation (including employment, product liability, environmental, and toxic tort litigation). This group is active in industry forums and conferences and regularly contributes to publications and webinar presentations.
