Patrick Mahoney is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
With a passion for transforming urban spaces, Patrick has led numerous mixed-use development projects throughout Boston’s residential neighborhoods. Patrick also works with clients in the United Kingdom. His coordinated and creative approach to deal structure has earned him a reputation as a forward-thinking professional in real estate and law.
He focuses his practice on commercial real estate land use and permitting, creating corporate structures, and providing business guidance on all matters related to real estate development, as well as general commercial real estate matters.
Prior to his current role, Patrick was the Principal at Boston Zoning Strategies, PLLC, offering commercial real estate permitting counsel, real estate development services, owner’s project representation, and general commercial real estate services. His legal career also includes experience as a Senior Associate at Adams & Morancy, P.C, an Associate at Dalton & Finegold, LLP, as well as a Plans Examiner at Inspectional Services for the City of Boston.
Trained as an electrician, Patrick rose through the ranks in the trades, and his entrepreneurial spirit has led him to launch dozens of companies in sectors ranging from hair salons to real estate. Patrick earned his Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University and BS from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Beyond his real estate and law career, Patrick finds joy in his personal life as the proud father of Rose (7yr) and Caroline Mahoney (9yr). Outside of work, Patrick enjoys family vacations, Bermuda boating, skeet shooting, spearfishing, and golfing. He recently represented Bermuda in the Island Games.
