Thomas R. Fulford is an Associate in the Prince Lobel Intellectual Property Practice Group. His practice focuses on litigation involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, as well as claims of trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition.

Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Tom was an associate at McCarter & English in Boston, where he served as trial counsel and as lead associate on day-to-day operations of various trial teams regarding complex patent litigation matters involving technologies such as photogrammetry- and aerial-image based 3-D modeling software, soil stabilization and erosion control systems, online user-authentication software and protocols, electronic adjustable mattress support systems, light emitting diode (LED) light sources, and change-detection- and object-tracking-based security and surveillance systems.

Prior to that, Tom was an associate at Hayes Messina Gilman & Hayes, serving as a key member of trial teams for many patent infringement cases, taking the lead role on all technology, infringement, and invalidity issues, and engaging in all aspects of discovery, pretrial, and trial procedure.

During law school, Tom worked as a trial section legal intern for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and as a law clerk for a regional insurance defense firm.
