Robert A. Bertsche Discusses the First Amendment and the Importance of Protecting the Press on WPRO Radio

Partner Robert A. Bertsche was featured on Rhode Island’s WPRO Saturday morning talk radio segment, where he discussed with host Steve Klamkin the current antagonism between the federal government and the press and how the President’s tweets threaten the freedoms afforded by the First Amendment.  Bertsche argued that journalists may have to consider bringing litigation against the government when it attempts to restrict those freedoms or otherwise block the press from “doing their job to report accurately and aggressively.”  To hear more of the conversation, click here.
