Prince Lobel Tye LLP Construction Law Group Chairman Hugh Gorman obtained summary judgment on behalf of our general contractor client dismissing an abutters seven-figure claim for property damage, negligence, public and private nuisance in connection with the renovation and construction of a major Massachusetts hospital. After oral argument, the Trial Court concluded that testimonial and documentary evidence obtained during the course of the lawsuit established that Plaintiff’s claims were time-barred by the applicable statute of limitations and the statute of repose.
