We are pleased to announce that Richard Kanoff has joined Prince Lobel as chair of its Renewable Energy Group.  Prince Lobel is expanding its Renewable Energy Group to focus on helping clients grow their opportunities in the renewable energy space.

In welcoming Richard to the firm, Craig Tateronis, Managing Partner, stated that “Prince Lobel is pleased to expand its energy practice at this critical time.  We understand the reemerging national focus on renewable energy and we are committed to providing guidance and expertise to our clients.  We are excited that Richard is joining us and welcome his extensive experience in serving clients in the energy field.”  He noted the firm’s long standing renewable energy practice and its related expertise in environmental law, real estate, and corporate finance and transactional work.

In his national practice, concentrated on renewable energy, Richard has helped clients develop, permit, finance, and operate thousands of megawatts of energy projects. Richard’s diverse clients include developers, contractors, landowners and lenders in a wide range of distributed generation technologies including energy and demand management, smart grid, solar, wind and battery storage.  He shares his clients’ commitment to clean energy and to a clean energy future.

He holds a bachelor degree from Lafayette College and a J.D. from George Washington University. Admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, he also holds memberships and affiliations with the Energy Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
