The Boston Globe Quotes Robert A. Bertsche on Continued Debate over Public’s Access to Online Records

In the ongoing debate on whether courts should limit the public’s online access to certain records without public opinion, the committee comprised of Massachusetts judges and court officials has decided to ask the public for its suggestions. Media law partner Rob Bertsche stated on this issue, “Technological progress should enhance public access to court files, not reduce it.” The committee is continuing to prepare its proposal before making a final decision to present to the Supreme Judicial Court for approval.
