Donald Tye served on The Special Concerns for Children committee of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. This committee was responsible for updating and revising the standards for children’s lawyers, specifically, “In what aspects of current practice the greater use of children’s lawyers might improve.” The committee was composed of “a diverse group of highly experienced practitioners from many different states.”
