Jeffrey Pyle of the Media and First Amendment Group was quoted in Law360 discussing a motion he filed on behalf of public radio station WBUR for access to the names and addresses of jurors in pharmacist Glenn Chin’s second-degree murder trial. The charges relate to Chin’s alleged role in a deadly outbreak of meningitis that resulted from unsafe conditions at the New England Compounding Center. “There’s value in speaking to jurors of every criminal case of public significance,” Pyle said of WBUR’s efforts, adding that “it’s also important to know whether the jurors labored under a misunderstanding of their instructions.” To read more of Jeff’s thoughts, see the full article here (subscription required).
