Prince Lobel is excited to welcome Nicholas Armington as a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Matthew Vella, Co-Chair of the firm’s IP Group noted, “We are thrilled to add such a talented and energetic attorney to our team, especially because of his experience litigating trade secret actions and International Trade Commission (ITC) proceedings.”
Nick’s practice is centered on matters related to the misappropriation of trade secrets, but he also handles all facets of intellectual property litigation. While in litigation for his clients, he considers the approaches that will lead to the most beneficial business results. Nick counsels and works with clients in the technology space on managing and protecting their confidential and trade secret asset portfolios as well as their patent portfolios.
Nick has considerable trial experience. Prior to joining Prince Lobel, he worked in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office as a Special Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted more than 150 criminal cases. Most recently he worked in the Boston office of an AmLaw 100 firm in their IP Group.
Prince Lobel’s Managing Partner Craig Tateronis commented, “Nick’s vast experience in protecting clients’ trade secrets will be complimentary to the work that our litigators and employment lawyers have historically done for clients in this area of the law. But Nick also brings a broad-based IP litigation background to us that will strengthen our already substantial patent litigation practice and will benefit our intellectual property clients more generally.”
Nick explained, “I chose Prince Lobel because it is the perfectly situated platform to support the growth of my trade secret litigation and asset management practice and to continue my patent litigation and IP monetization work. I am looking forward to working with the excellent lawyers at Prince Lobel to grow these practices, and others.”
Nick earned his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and he graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in History
