Prince Lobel Holds Denim Day Fundraiser in Honor of William O. Rizzo

April 11, 2008

Prince Lobel held a Denim Day on April 11 to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The donation was made in memory of our friend and colleague, Bill Rizzo.

We lost Bill on June 12, 2007, after a brave battle with leukemia. Our donations will help memorialize Bill’s life, and his contributions to the legal community and to our firm.

Employees were allowed to wear denim to work in exchange for a donation. They also received a “Relentless” bracelet, purchased from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Society was founded in 1949, and has invested more than $550.8 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
