BOSTON–Prince Lobel is pleased to announce that Jim Hall has joined the firm as a partner and a member of Prince Lobel’s Intellectual Property practice group. In welcoming Jim to the firm, the Co-Chair of Prince Lobel’s Intellectual Property practice group, Matthew Vella stated, “Having worked closely with Jim for over a decade, we are delighted to be working with him again. Jim strengthens our already deep patent litigation team, but more importantly, adds to our team’s ability to offer clients a one-stop shop that integrates our litigation, licensing, mining, prosecution and post-grant practices.  In an increasingly complex licensing and enforcement landscape that for any given client can span several geographies, agencies, and forums, Jim’s experience working on several different aspects of a patent’s lifecycle will make him a fundamental member of our team.”

He has more than 18 years of experience in all phases of patent litigation, including pre-suit investigations, venue selection, discovery, expert witness preparation, voir dire, trials, and appeals.   James also has expertise in patent preparation, prosecution, and post-grant practice, including supplemental examination, inter partes review, and ex parte reexamination.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with high honors from Florida Atlantic University, a master of science in microbiology from the University of Massachusetts, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the New England School of Law.
