Mark Powers is a member of Prince Lobel’s Business Transactions Practice Group.

Mark is a commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on corporate reorganizations, bankruptcy law, creditors’ rights, and complex business litigation matters. He has tried cases in the Bankruptcy, U.S. District and Massachusetts Superior Courts. Mark’s clients are located throughout the U.S. and abroad. Clients engage Mark to offer strategic, cost-effective advice. Mark’s clients include banks, financial institutions, utilities, trade vendors, landlords, creditors’ committees, bankruptcy trustees and business debtors.  Mark has represented clients in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Southern District of Texas.

Mark’s practice intersects a range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and clean energy. Mark represents middle-market companies in a broad range of business transactions. Mark’s clients are often referred to him by other lawyers who were at one time adversaries.

Mark has been an expert commentator in various highly respected business publications, including Bloomberg, The Deal and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
