The state of Massachusetts has been categorized as having one of the least enforceable public records laws within the United States. However, the Statehouse recently proposed a resolution to improve access to these public records. Rob Bertsche stated that although this would establish firm guidelines and timelines for fees along with penalties for noncompliance, other factors would still not be included within the resolution.
