Braillard to Aid Clients with Renewable Energy and Telecommunications Projects

Prince Lobel is pleased to welcome Adam Braillard back to the firm.  Braillard left Prince Lobel in 2013 to serve as Counsel and Program Manager for Smartlink LLC, a telecommunications infrastructure development company.  He returns to Prince Lobel as a partner in our Real EstateTelecommunications, and Renewable Energy practice groups.

In his real estate practice, Braillard assists clients with transactional and commercial land use and development matters.  He has nearly two decades of experience counseling clients on permitting, leasing, and sales and acquisitions, as well as on company formation and financing.

Braillard was a founding member of the firm’s Renewable Energy Practice Group.  He specializes in working with clients on all aspects of the assessment, financing, and development of renewable energy projects, including helping to navigate state and federal tax incentives and regulations.

Braillard also counsels clients on telecommunications matters.  Over the course of his time at both Prince Lobel and Smartlink, he has managed the development of hundreds of wireless telecommunications projects, from site acquisition and lease negotiation to permitting, design and architectural planning, and site construction.

While at Prince Lobel, Braillard served as the project manager and lead attorney on several important matters in Massachusetts, such as the development of a 20-plus acre ground-mounted solar facility in Westboro and the first rooftop solar project in Chelsea.  He was also responsible for the development of hundreds of new tower sites for a telecommunications client that was building out its wireless network in New England.

“We are pleased to welcome Adam back to Prince Lobel,” said Managing Partner Craig Tateronis.   “Our firm’s lawyers have been at the forefront of the telecommunications industry for over 20 years.  Adam’s return bolsters our telecommunications practice at a time when our clients face a critical need for outside counsel who are industry-experienced, strategic partners with a track record for delivering results.  Moreover, as a founder of our Renewable Energy Practice Group, his return re-energizes our renewable energy development practice.”

Braillard earned his B.S. from Northeastern University and his J.D. from the New England School of Law.
