Corporate attorney Rob Barber was mentioned in Getting Around Cambridge, a local publication that covers safe and sustainable transportation. The magazine featured a photo of then-Ambassador Barber congratulating Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School students on winning the Glocal Challenge, a competition in which contestants propose “local solutions to global problems.” The CRLS winners have proposed installing kinetic energy tiles in high-traffic areas of Cambridge as a source of alternative energy.
