Three Prince Lobel Attorneys Named as Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyers

March 4, 2024

Prince Lobel is pleased to share that Joseph Edwards, Michael Sullivan, and William Rogers, Jr. have been named to the Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyers database. The database is derived from an international survey of over 2,000 senior in-house legal counsel asked to identify private-practice lawyers performing excellent work, displaying business acumen, and turning legal advice into real solutions. According to Thomson Reuters, “the database is entirely free from law firm influence and contains individual lawyers who are among the most highly regarded—by clients around the world.”

Congratulations to the three Prince Lobel attorneys selected for this honor:

Joseph Edwards: Joseph L. Edwards Jr. is a partner at Prince Lobel and represents employers and employees in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in a full range of employment matters, including sex, race, and handicap discrimination claims, employment contracts, severance issues, and noncompete agreements. Joe provides management training as well as seminars in preventing sexual harassment in the workplace for both managers and employees. He is certified by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination to conduct anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training. In addition, Joe represents clients in general litigation matters.

Michael Sullivan: Michael T. Sullivan is a trial and appellate attorney who handles complicated high-stakes disputes, particularly in the construction, real estate, and health care industries, and most often for engineering firms and construction companies involved in contract or professional-negligence disputes. On behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, he has been lead counsel in numerous trials, arbitrations, and mediations across many jurisdictions. While chiefly a litigator, Michael also provides general counsel and up-front advice to businesses seeking to avoid legal disputes. He is firmly committed to understanding the unique needs of his clients, and to finding creative and practical solutions to their legal issues.

William Rogers: William S. Rogers, Jr. represents a broad array of clients including technology companies, financial services institutions, health care institutions and health care providers, real estate developers, property managers, product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, bid vendors and purchasers, construction contractors and suppliers, and professional service providers in commercial and tort disputes. His representation includes commercial contract and performance disputes, commercial lease disputes, intentional and business torts, data breach incidents, medical negligence and wrongful death actions, products liability and warranty obligation actions, government, and private internal investigations, and claims under data breach notification, commercial and unfair trade practice statutory schemes.
